Tom Devos (32) is a digital experience architect and entrepreneur. He is passionate about guiding organizations towards a human-friendly organizational culture, managing the end-to-end digital experience across all products, services and touch points.
Tom started out as a student entrepreneur, when he founded a digital agency at the age of 18. Combining entrepreneurial life with his studies as business engineer at Hasselt University, Tom took a head start in the digital world.
After his studies, Tom became a digital consultant at AE. During three years he joined exciting and adventurous projects at Wolters Kluwer, Honda Motor Europe, ENI and ING. Running these projects, the passion for digital experiences developed even further, leading to the founding of the startup Intago in 2015. During a three-year challenge, Tom brought the company from a one-man business to a growing organization of 12 people, with exciting large customers as Pelican Rouge, VDAB, Randstad, Cegeka, Baloise Insurance, … ‘But we grew too fast, and the foundations weren’t solid’. After a failed investment round, Tom decided to shrink the company back to the roots, focusing on digital experience consulting. After a time of serious reflection, Tom decided to join Pencil42 as digital architect.
Today Tom is a passionate consultant and speaker about Digital and Customer Experience. In his private life he is also a board member of Museum44 and Fancy Flamingo’s.
